Questa sera è andata in scena la prima prova speciale del Rally del Portogallo, quinto appuntamento del World Rally Championship 2015.
Dopo lo shakedown di questo pomeriggio, Andreas Mikkelsen ha dato spettacolo anche nella PS1 chiudendo in testa al termine dei 3,36 chilometri di Lousada.
Il norvegese ha coperto il breve tragitto in 2’41″1, aprendo la tripletta Volkwagen che vede in seconda posizione Sébastien Ogier – a mezzo secondo dalla vetta – e in terza Jari-Matti Latvala, tutti e tre al volante di una Polo R WRC. La speciale di oggi non può essere indice dell’andamento dei prossimi quattro giorni, ma è innegabile che le vetture di Wolfsburg saranno ancora le vetture da battere.
